On August 21, the 2024 World Robot Conference commenced in Beijing. This three-day event featured a main forum, 26 specialized sessions, and a 50,000-square-meter exhibition area, providing a comprehensive international platform for exchange and cooperation in robotics. Over 400 leading scientists, representatives from international organizations, academicians, and distinguished entrepreneurs attended.

 

As an artificial intelligence unicorn , SmartMore was also invited to this event. Its founder and chairman, Professor Jia Jiaya, delivered a keynote speech during the first chapter of the main forum, titled Industrial Development.

In his speech, Professor Jia emphasized, "Embodied intelligence represents a significant integration of technological and industrial innovation. As AI advances, embodied intelligence products such as robotic arms will increasingly be deployed in real smart manufacturing scenarios." 

 

Professor Jia also shared with the conference audience the latest achievements of SmartMore in the field of industrial large-scale models. In November 2023, SmartMore unveiled IndustryGPT, the worlds first industrial multimodal large model for high-end manufacturing,which fills a significant gap in the industry.

Professor Jia stated, "By propelling mechanical motion with IndustryGPT, we are seamlessly connecting the digital and physical worlds, making operations more convenient, efficient, and precise. IndustryGPT will continue to evolve into an intelligent agent capable of autonomous control and collaboration, becoming the true brain of future robots."
