I used it last week to locate an oil spill that was difficult for me to properly identify with dyes. Simple to connect—just insert it into the USB port—the probe's tiny 8.5mm size allows it to fit into small openings like spark plug and injector holes. lacks a side-mounted camera, but it does include an angled mirror that lets you view things from a 45-degree angle. In summary, it has good illumination, integrates well with an Xtool scanner, is simple to operate, and most of all, is reasonably priced.

This scope is well-made and quite simple to use. My old scope, which came with a Belden kit, was hard to focus, and the fiber was never in the middle of your field of vision. I highly suggest this scope, as it surpasses the previous one in quality. Even the dried residue from alcohol wipes can be seen at 400x magnification before polishing.
